Chen Shen

I grew up in China and have been in New Zealand for over 15 years. I’ve been an accountant for over 20 years and worked as a company accountant across different industries before starting the Number Studio.
My passion is helping people in small to medium sized businesses meet all their tax obligations. I pride myself on providing excellent service at an affordable price. I don’t believe in high minimum charges or passing on large overheads to clients.
When I’m not at work I’m spending time with my wife and children, enjoy exploring the Southern Alps walkways, and an active supporter of local business in Selwyn
Jordan Pilgrim

Making things easy, not over complicating things, and making the Number Studio easy to engage and work with is my passion.
I have over 10 years’ experience in customer service and account management, across many industries, and a strong interest in how businesses operate in general.
Outside of work I cherish spending time with my wife and 9-month-old son. I also have a passion for learning about economics and world trading markets.

With a background law and passion for money laundering legislation and tax planning, I help our clients in all aspects of company law. I enjoy helping people navigate the tricky and often tedious aspects of these areas and leave them to do the things they are good at – running their businesses!
I enjoy art, music, politics, visiting the local library, and spending time with family in the Waikato.
